Learn how you can filter by User Type in your reports and dashboards.
Please note: This article applies to users with all roles.
User Type is a field for grouping users into categories. Some examples of common user types include years at the network, administrative role, or instructional vs. non-instructional.
Many reports and dashboards on Grow can be filtered to only view individuals with a specific user type. Below, you'll see the Frequency Dashboard. Type your user type into the Filter table by text bar at the top of the table and see that results are narrowed down to only users with that user type.
Other reports where you can filter by user type include the Touchpoint Dashboard, the Action Items Report, the Performance Dashboard, and the Form Report!
If you don't see a column for User Type on your reports/dashboards, try clicking the right-facing blue arrow in the top left corner of the results table, to show extended user information. If you still don't see User Types, reach out to your Customer Success Manager to set them up!
