Learn how to host a Weekly Data Meeting using Grow.

Process Overview
The Weekly Data Meeting process on Grow is designed to be closely aligned with the Relay process. Each Weekly Data Meeting consists of three phases: Before, During, and After.
- Before the meeting, the host creates the meeting templates and prepares for the meeting. Then, the host shares the meeting with other participant(s) so that they can also prepare.
- During the meeting, both the host and participant(s) can capture notes as well as see one another's notes. The final reteach plan and reteach date(s) are captured.
- After the reteach, the participant(s) enters post-reteach mastery data. Lastly, leaders can use the Weekly Data Meeting Report to identify overall mastery growth.
Before the Meeting
Prep
To begin, open the meeting and add participants. To add a participant simply search for and select their name.
Then, you can add notes/prep. This likely includes breaking down the standard into a Know/Show chart, identifying the gap, and beginning to document possible strategies for a reteach plan. The content in white will never become available to participants, and your content in peach is not visible to participants until the meeting is started. When you are ready for the participants to begin their pre-work, click Share w/ participants. This sends them an empty template for their independent pre-work/reflection.
After you click the option to share with participants, a pop-up will appear asking for a note to include with the email notification. Once the text is filled out, click Share and the notification will be sent.
After you share the meeting with participants, the teacher(s) will have their own blank copy of the peach prep fields to enter the mastery, break down the standard, and identify the gap.
During the Meeting
Start Meeting
When it’s time for the actual meeting, you will click Start Meeting. At this point, everyone will get access to all participant's notes that are in the peach text boxes.
In Meeting
To view a participant’s notes you can:
1. Click the button next to one participant's name to see all of their notes. This updates in real-time as the participant types.
2. Click the dark blue Compare Notes button to see a pop of every participant's responses for that specific field.
Note: Participants also have the option to click the dark blue Compare Notes button to see the host and other participant responses.
After the Meeting
The host or participants can return to the meeting after the reteach to document the new mastery percentage and any reflections they might have. Data on the Initial Mastery and Reteach Mastery percentages all flow into Grow's Weekly Data Meeting Report.
