Observation Text Field Report Overview

Learn how to use the Observation Text Field Report to analyze trends in qualitative data.

Please Note: This article applies to all observers.

The Observation Text Field Report is a great place to review the notes written in the text boxes of your observations and evaluations. With this report, you can collectively see all of the notes recorded in any specific text box from any form, and look for trends!

You can access this report by going to Reports > Coaching Reports > Observation Text Field Report.

Using the Filters & Options on the left-hand side, you can select a date range, which Schools and Observers to include, and an Item Type (Observations versus Quick Feedback). Using the options under Forms to Include, check off entire forms or specific qualitative (text-box) rows to pull data from. Lastly, click Update Filters to run the report.

Click the blue View button next to any note to review the entire observation or Quick Feedback in depth.
