How do coaching groups work?

Learn how to give user access to some but not all teachers.

Please note: this article is primarily for users with an Assistant Admin role and above.

Unless otherwise requested, when a coach/observer is given an account in Grow, they are given access to all teachers in the school. They will be able to see all the information related to every teacher, including touchpoints given to them by other coaches.

The purpose of a coaching group is to give a user access to specific teachers, rather than access to every teacher. This will give them access to all of the information of the observees in the coaching group.

For example: Math Coach has been given access to only English Teacher, Social Studies Teacher, and Math Teacher in this coaching group. The Math Coach can send feedback to these three users as well as review touchpoints given to them by other coaches. The Math Coach, however, is not given access to any other teacher through this coaching group.
