To complete an IPDP or CAP on Grow, you can navigate from the Cycles Dashboard or the Start menu.
From the Cycles Dashboard
For the majority of users, your homepage will be the Cycles Dashboard so that you can quickly access it by clicking on the home icon. You can also click Reports > Cycle Reports > Cycles Dashboard. From there, locate the recipient of the IPDP or CAP and click the arrow to the left of their name.
From this dashboard, you can either schedule an event for later or start it directly.
If you would like to schedule the event click the calendar icon. You can then choose a time and date, as well as export to your Outlook calendar via the green Add to Outlook button. When you're done, click Schedule.
To start the event, click the green plus sign directly to its right.
From the Start Menu
Click Start > Observe to begin the IPDP/CAP.
Search for a user via the text bar, then click their name when it appears below.
Form Type should be toggled to ALL. Under the Form drop-down, select the Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP) or Corrective Action Plan (CAP). Then, click Start.
Form Overview
When the IPDP or CAP opens, you'll notice that Require observee to sign observation is automatically enabled so that you can collect a signature.
As you navigate through the IPDP/CAP template, you'll have the opportunity to assign Student Growth Objectives and Professionals Growth Goals via the managers directly within the form. To assign an SGO or PGG, click the click plus-sign.
You can also utilize the Action Steps manager on the left-hand side of the form to assign next steps from the event.
Also on the left-hand side of the form is a space to capture Private Notes. As the help-text states, notes entered in this field can be seen by other observers with access to this staff member.
