Please note: this article is for users with a System Admin role.
Turning on Lesson Plan Cycles
You can turn on Lesson Plan Cycles in System Settings. Click your name > System Settings.
On the left panel under Core Feature Settings, click Lesson Plans, and then toggle on Allow scheduling for Lesson Plans and other documents. Once you set up due dates for a teacher, they will see percentage metrics on their profile page for what has been submitted and reviewed. You can identify the thresholds for those percentages turning from red to yellow and yellow to green in the settings seen below.
Setting up Lesson Plan Cycles
Now that the feature is turned on, you can set up you actual cycles. To begin Lesson Plan Cycle configuration, go to Config > Lesson Plan Cycles.
Click Add Lesson Plan Cycle to create a new one.
Provide a name, start date, and end date for your Lesson Plan Cycle. Select the number and Interval to set the frequency at which Lesson Plans should be due. The options for frequency include weekly, biweekly (every 2 weeks), and monthly. To see the list of due dates your setup will generate, you can click Confirm Due Dates. This option also allows you to remove any due dates within the cycle for times, such as holidays, where a lesson plan might not be due. Next, use role and user types/tags as needed, to identify who is an observee in this cycle. If you'd like, you can toggle on require only one category match. If you select this option, users will only need one of the categories to match their user profile. To finalize, click Create!
