Learn how to give feedback on a lesson plan that has been shared with you!
Please note: this article is primarily for users with a Coach role and above at districts with the Lesson Plan Feedback feature enabled. If you are interested in setting this up for your site, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager/Associate.
Giving Feedback
Go to Start > Find Lesson Plans.
On this page, you'll see all lesson plans from users you have access to. Find the lesson plan you are reviewing and click Start Review.
The lesson plan will appear in the left panel. In the right panel, click Review Info to view basic information about this lesson plan (i.e. objective, lesson date, etc.).
Next, if you have multiple feedback forms, select the form you'd like to use for review under Form Picker. If your school/district only has one form, that will already be displayed here.
A preview of the form will display below. Once you've selected your desired form, click Confirm Form.
You can now begin giving feedback on this lesson plan, in the right panel. If the teacher uploaded multiple files, you can toggle between those files at the top of the left panel.
If you would like to schedule a meeting to discuss this lesson plan, click the Meetings icon in the top right.
Requesting Changes to Lesson Plans
If you are requesting changes from the submitter, click the orange Request Changes button.
After clicking this button, you can add a personal note for the submitter that will be included in the email notification they receive. When you're ready, click Request Changes & Notify to send an email notification.
Approving Lesson Plans
Click Approve when you are ready to approve their lesson plan.
After clicking approve, you can then write a personal note to the submitter which will be included in the email notification. Click Approve or Approve and Notify to finalize.
After approving the lesson plan, you’ll be taken back to Find Lesson Plans where you can begin or resume other lesson plan feedback. In the status column, you'll see this lesson plan is now marked as Approved.
