Learn how to use the Advanced Search feature to quickly find what you're looking for!
Please note: this article is primarily for users with a Sub Admin role and above.
You can get to this feature by going to Start > Advanced Search.
First, select what you are searching for. Your options are Observations, Quick Feedback, Users, Meetings, and Action Items.
Then you can adjust your filters to search by the information you do know about this feedback or user. Below, I will walk through an example of how this feature can be used.
Example: Find an Archived Observation
"I would like to find an observation that Albus sent to Snape and then accidentally archived."
There are plenty of settings available to make your search as broad or as narrow as you'd like. For this example, the Observee was set to Snape and the Observer was set to Albus. Published has been set to anything, to show both draft and completed observations. Archived has been set to anything, to show both archived and active observations.
Click Perform Search and on the right, you will see all of the observations that fit the criteria, as well as some basic information about those observations. Click on View, in the right corner of each observation, to be directed to the observation itself.
